Oval Carved Bowl

This cute hand-etched bowl is both decorative and functional. Fill this textured blue ceramic bowl with crackers, candy, snacks, cookies, and more. Or simply enjoy it as a home-decor accessory.

After throwing this bowl on the wheel, I altered the shape to an oval and created texture by carving the exterior. After its first firing, I painted sky-blue glaze for a bright effect, and used a clear glaze to highlight the textured exterior.
