Japanese Print Serving Platter 2

✨ One-of-a-Kind: This is the exact piece you will receive.

Inspired by floral shapes and a vintage Japanese art print (in the second photo), this charming serving platter is embellished by hand with eye-catching cascades of cheerful blooms. Brighten your kitchen and display as a beautiful accent, or charm your guests with hors d'oeuvres, cheese and crackers, freshly baked cookies, muffins, fruit slices and more.

This stoneware plate is fashioned by hand using a slab technique. After firing it in an electric kiln, I drew each flower in a repeating pattern and painted underglazes. The painted pattern gets set with a second firing in the kiln. Finally, I used a glossy clear glaze for a smooth finish before its final glaze firing.
