Japanese Print Serving Platter 1

✨ One-of-a-Kind: This is the exact piece you will receive.

Inspired by floral shapes and a vintage Japanese art print (in the second photo), this charming serving platter is embellished by hand with eye-catching cascades of cheerful blooms. Brighten your kitchen and display as a beautiful accent, or charm your guests with hors d'oeuvres, cheese and crackers, freshly baked cookies, muffins, fruit slices and more. Plus, it looks equally attractive filled or empty.

This stoneware plate is fashioned by hand using a slab technique. After firing it in an electric kiln, I drew each flower in a repeating pattern and painted underglazes. The painted pattern gets set with a second firing in the kiln. Finally, I used a glossy clear glaze for a smooth finish before its final glaze firing.
