French Vanilla and Dark Clay Serving Platter

This elegantly rustic platter, finished with a gentle rim, serves up plenty of versatility. This platter is built by hand from a rolled slab and drape mold. After it was fired, I dipped it in a French vanilla glaze that contrasts with the underlying dark clay. Then I applied energetic splashes of blue glazes. Finally, the platter is fired in the kiln for durability.
