Birch Speckled Round Casserole

Roast some veggies, indulge in a fruit crisp, or bake a large wheel of brie and bring it right to the table. This item also doubles as a serving piece for crackers and cheese, a mound of warm dinners rolls, grain dishes and more. 

This casserole started thrown on the wheel, after which I impressed a spiral in the bottom, added texture to the exterior, formed handles and adhered these to the casserole. After being fired in an electric kiln, I choose this speckled glaze with rich brown tones.
